Futures in Cornwall, United Kingdom, seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to join a growing manufacturing organisation. This is a hands-on role close to production, driving root cause analysis and sustainable improvements across quality, reliability and waste.

You will work with Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality teams to resolve technical and process problems and ensure QMS updates reflect improvements. A strong engineering background and structured problem-solving are essential.

Formación

• Strong engineering capability with hands-on manufacturing exposure.
• Structured problem-solving approach for complex production issues.
• Ability to drive improvements in quality, reliability and waste reduction.
• Experience with QMS documentation and quality procedures.
• Knowledge of RCA methodologies including 5 Why, Ishikawa and FMEA.

Responsabilidades

• Lead structured root cause analysis across production.
• Utilise tools including 5 Why’s, Ishikawa/Fishbone, RCA, FMEA and CI methodologies.
• Investigate recurring manufacturing and process issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Drive improvements across quality, reliability, waste and overall manufacturing performance.
• Work directly with production teams to resolve technical and process-related problems.
• Follow improvements through with the appropriate quality documentation and QMS updates.
• Support a wider culture of Continuous Improvement and operational excellence.
