Job summary

Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions, part of Spirax Group, is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join the Quality Assurance team on site in the UK. You will drive quality improvements across processes, lead investigations into non-conformances, and collaborate with suppliers and customers to uphold high standards.

You will analyse quality data, support PPAP activities, and influence manufacturing practices to embed a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Quality Engineering role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to investigation and improvement.
• Experience using manufacturing quality tools such as SPC, Risk Analysis, 8D and CAPA.
• The ability to influence, collaborate and build effective working relationships across diverse teams.
• A passion for quality and a desire to make a measurable impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations into non-conformances, working with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
• Analyse quality data, identify trends, and use insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
• Collaborate with suppliers on PPAP (Product and Process Approval) activities and product/process validation.
• Manage supplier corrective action requests and support supplier quality improvement activities.
• Support customer requests, complaints, and audits, helping to maintain the highest quality standards and customer satisfaction.
• Use your expertise to positively influence change across a broad range of manufacturing processes and business functions.
