Job summary

Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions in Falmouth is seeking a talented Senior Quality Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. This role focuses on driving quality improvements across the business, collaborating with stakeholders to embed robust processes.

You will lead investigations into non-conformances, analyse quality data to identify trends, and support PPAP activities with suppliers, aiming for excellence in product and process quality.

  • Experience in a Quality Engineering role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to investigation and improvement.
  • Experience using manufacturing quality tools such as SPC, Risk Analysis, 8D and CAPA.
  • The ability to influence, collaborate and build effective working relationships across diverse teams.
  • A passion for quality and a desire to make a measurable impact.

Responsibilities

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you'll be instrumental in supporting and enhancing our quality systems and continuous improvement activities. You'll:



  • Lead investigations into non-conformances, working with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.

  • Analyse quality data, identify trends, and use insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

Who you'll be working with

This is a highly collaborative role where you'll build strong relationships across the organisation.


You'll work closely with colleagues in:



  • Production and Manufacturing

  • Supply Chain

  • Design and Engineering

  • Quality Assurance

  • Supplier and Customer organisations


You’ll engage with stakeholders at all levels, supporting onsite audits and driving a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility.
