Job summary

Rotork UK Ltd is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to strengthen the Quality Department at the Leeds manufacturing facility. This hands-on role focuses on improving product quality, developing robust processes, and supporting growth across functions.

You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Suppliers to drive continuous improvement, ensure compliance, and embed a strong quality culture across the business.

Qualifications

• Must have experience as a Quality Engineer in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 80079-34 quality systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations into customer complaints and internal quality issues.
• Drive RCCA (root cause analysis), CAPA and preventive actions.
• Manage supplier quality including approvals and audits.
• Support part qualification and change management (PPAP).
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System per ISO standards.

Job description

Rotork UK Ltd is looking for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to become a key member of our Quality Department at our Leeds manufacturing facility. This is a highly visible, hands‑on role where you’ll play a crucial part in strengthening product quality, developing robust processes, and supporting our continued growth.

You’ll work collaboratively across functions — partnering with Operations, Engineering, and Suppliers — to drive continuous improvement, ensure compliance, and embed a strong quality culture throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead investigations into customer complaints, concerns, and internal quality issues
• Drive root cause analysis, corrective and preventative actions (RCCA)
• Manage supplier quality, including approvals, audits, and supply‑chain improvement
• Support part qualification and change management (PPAP / sample approval)
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001, ISO 80079‑34, CSA standards
• Conduct internal and process audits
• Manage non‑conformances across customer, supplier, internal, and audit activities
• Support continuous improvement and new product introduction (NPI) projects
• Promote quality awareness and Health & Safety across the business
