Job summary

ReeVR Talent is partnering with an established engineering and manufacturing business in Salisbury to recruit an experienced Senior Quality Engineer. The role focuses on supplier quality, non-conformance, customer quality and continuous improvement across operations and the supply chain.

You will drive supplier audits, maintain the Approved Supplier List, monitor supplier quality KPIs, and manage NCR closures while supporting NADCAP readiness and regular quality inductions.

Qualifications

• Experience in supplier quality and supplier audits.
• Experience managing NCRs and corrective actions.
• Strong root cause analysis skills.
• Track record of delivering improvements in KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk-based supplier audits and maintain the Approved Supplier List.
• Monitor and report supplier quality KPIs.
• Act as closure authority for internal and supplier NCRs.
• Review root cause and corrective actions; ensure effective preventative actions.
• Own customer NCR responses and act as quality interface for key customers.
• Support NADCAP audit readiness across Welding, Heat Treatment and NDT.
• Ensure quality inductions are completed.

About You, as a Senior Quality Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Quality Engineer or Senior Quality Engineer with a background in an engineering or manufacturing environment.

You’ll ideally have experience in:

• Supplier quality and supplier audits
• NCR and corrective action management
• Root cause analysis
• Quality KPIs
• Working within technically demanding manufacturing environments
• You’ll be comfortable challenging quality issues, influencing stakeholders and driving corrective actions through to effective closure.
