Job summary

MNB Precision Ltd in Coventry seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to join the quality team in a precision manufacturing environment. You will help ensure paperwork and components meet company specifications, driving quality improvements across production.

Responsibilities include CRN investigations, customer audits, and supporting CI initiatives while collaborating with the shop floor and suppliers to uphold high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience investigating nonconformities and CRN investigations.
• Experience conducting customer audits and supplier nonconformities.
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Ability to drive quality improvements and implement best practices on the shopfloor.
• Proactive team player with collaborative mindset.
• Experience in precision manufacturing/engineering environments.

• Investigate internal nonconformities and customer reject notes (CRNs).
• Conduct CRN enquiries and root cause investigations.
• Monitor adherence to the QMS and quality procedures.
• Conduct customer audits as required.
• Investigate goods received issues and supplier nonconformities.
• Support the Quality Manager with CI initiatives.

Day Shift: 08:30am – 17:00pm + overtime

Hours: 40 hours per week, full time

Permanent position

£40,000 - £45,000 per annum

We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join our quality team in a precision manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will assist in the management of the company’s quality processes to ensure paperwork and components are produced to company specifications.

Key Responsibilities For The Senior Quality Engineer

• Investigate internal nonconformities and customer reject notes (CRNs)
• Conduct CRN enquiries and root cause investigations
• Monitor adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS) and established quality procedures
• Conduct customer audits

• Experience conducting customer audits.
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and quality standards
• Ability to drive quality improvements and implement best practices on the shopfloor
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience within precision manufacturing or engineering environments
• Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Ability to communicate quality standards effectively to production teams
• Experience working with ERP systems for NCR logging
