Job summary

MBDA UK is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Quality Assurance Manufacturing team, providing professional quality support to the Manufacturing team in the UK.

You will provide independent visibility and assurance that manufacturing processes are applied across projects, identify improvements, manage SAP non-conformances, and drive corrective actions using data analysis. Travel to MBDA sites UK-wide and internationally is required.

Qualifications

• Ideally HNC/HND in a relevant subject.
• Quality professional with experience in process-based integrated management systems.
• Experience using risk management and problem solving tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office packages (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Quality auditing experience.
• Knowledge of EN9100/AS9100 and related standards.
• Strong interpersonal, planning and organisational skills.
• Ability to identify improvements and implement solutions.
• Ability to communicate and influence at all levels.
• Willing to travel within the UK and abroad.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent visibility that manufacturing processes are applied across projects.
• Identify and implement sustainable improvements to methods and processes.
• Manage SAP non-conformances and analyse defect data for root cause actions.
• Prepare management reports on audit outcomes and issues.
• Support quality initiatives and training within Manufacturing UK.
• Assist programmes to achieve cost, time and quality targets.
