MBDA UK Limited is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer in Bolton to support manufacturing teams in delivering on-time, on-cost and on-quality products. You will manage non-conformances, lead root-cause investigations and drive corrective actions using QA tools.

The role requires strong analytical skills, practical problem-solving, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional audits and improvements across sites. Flexible working options exist while 4–5 days per week are on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to plan and organise multi-task workloads.
• Ability to lead investigations and report to senior management.
• Experience with non-conformance management and corrective actions.

Responsabilités

• Ensure effective management of non-conformances across manufacturing including admin of non-conformities and containment.
• Facilitate Practical Problem-Solving, determine Root Causes and implement robust Corrective Actions.
• Analyze non-conformance data via business tools (Google Analytics) and SAP to identify trends and risks.
• Manage customer concerns and escapes, liaising with inter-company facilities and external customers.
• Coordinate inscapes between manufacturing business units and ensure timely closures of actions.
• Provide independent audits and reports to management on audit outcomes and improvements.
