Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join a fully remote team. You will design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans, mentor junior QA analysts, and drive quality across complex software projects in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead diverse testing types, contribute to test automation with Selenium, Cypress, and Postman, and collaborate with product and development teams through the SDLC, employing Agile practices to ensure robust and scalable solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years of software quality assurance and testing experience.
• Proven experience leading QA initiatives and mentoring team members.
• Proficiency with test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Postman).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and testing types.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test strategies, plans, and test cases for new and existing software features.
• Lead and mentor junior QA analysts on testing methodologies and best practices.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
• Contribute to the automation of testing processes, including the development and maintenance of automated test scripts.
• Collaborate with product management and development teams throughout the SDLC to ensure quality is built into the product.
