Job summary

ICAEW is seeking a Qualified Accountant to support partners with a portfolio of medium-sized and larger entities. This non‑audit role can be 100% remote or hybrid and focuses on detailed accounts work, corporation tax and special projects.

Your responsibilities include preparing statutory accounts, multi-entity consolidations and handling complex accounting issues, while maintaining client relationships and coordinating with the audit team.

Qualifications

• ACCA/ACA qualified with at least 2 years' post‑qualification experience (or newly qualified with strong relevant experience).
• Senior or Assistant Manager level experience within practice.
• Strong working knowledge of CCH Accounts Production software.
• Experience with medium-sized entities and complex groups.
• Technically strong in financial reporting.
• Solid corporation tax knowledge.
• Confident communicator, capable of remote client interaction.
• Well organised and deadline‑driven.
• Enjoy developing others and contributing to a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory accounts for medium‑sized and larger entities and groups.
• Prepare multi‑entity and multi‑currency consolidations.
• Tackle complex accounting issues with research and documented conclusions.
• Maintain client relationships through regular communication.
• Liaise with the audit team to ensure alignment across assignments.
• Assist with corporation tax and VAT compliance and related submissions.
• Support specialist and ad hoc assignments.
• Review work and mentor junior team members.
