Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor for Liverpool to lead commercial management of dry lining and fire protection packages. You will work with project teams, clients, main contractors and supply chain to drive financial performance and timely payments.

You will bring proven senior QS experience within construction, with strong CVR, cost control, and contracts knowledge. The role offers real responsibility and exposure to major projects with a clear career path.

Qualifications

• Proven senior QS experience in construction projects.
• Strong background in dry lining or fire protection packages.
• Experience managing large construction packages.
• Knowledge of CVRs, forecasting, cost control, valuations and final accounts.
• Experience with subcontract procurement and account management.
• Good understanding of contracts and commercial procedures.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial responsibility for allocated projects and packages.
• Manage CVRs, forecasts, cost control and financial reporting.
• Procure subcontractors and manage subcontractor accounts.
• Prepare valuations, payment applications, variations and final accounts.
• Review contracts and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Manage change, variations and additional works.
• Collaborate with Contracts Managers, Project Managers and site teams.
• Liaise with clients and main contractors on commercial matters.
• Maintain cash flow and ensure payments are progressed.
