Job summary

GXO Logistics is recruiting a QHSE Manager for our Thorncliffe distribution centre in the UK. This senior, site-based role leads the QSHE and Facilities teams, driving safety culture and regulatory compliance across a large, automated operation.

You will report to the General Manager with a dotted line to Regional EHS, championing GXO safety principles, coordinating audits, investigations and performance reporting to safeguard people and the business.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate is essential.
• Experience leading QHSE in warehouse/distribution/automated environments.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and audit requirements.
• Confident stakeholder management and leadership of teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, drive and continually improve the QSHE culture on site.
• Foster ownership of safety and wellbeing across the workforce.
• Develop and maintain site safety policies, risk assessments and procedures.
• Lead incident reporting/investigations with root-cause analysis.
