Job summary

Pixel Toys, based in Leamington Spa, is seeking an Experienced QA Technician to ensure the quality and playability of our mobile games. You will perform functional, regression and exploratory testing, document defects, and work with Engineers, Designers and Producers to prioritise fixes.

You will mentor junior QA team members, help refine testing processes, and contribute to release readiness. A background in game QA and experience with Android and iOS testing are highly valued.

Qualifications

• QA Technician or similar role in games industry.
• Experience testing Android and iOS devices.
• Knowledge of game development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional, regression, exploratory and feature-focused testing.
• Identify, reproduce and document defects with thorough detail.
• Perform root-cause analysis to provide actionable reports for developers.
• Collaborate with Engineers, Designers and Producers to prioritise defects and verify fixes.
• Support release readiness activities by validating build stability and test planning.
• Mentor and guide less experienced QA team members.
