Job summary

Sigma Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Senior QA Officer for a leading UK manufacturer. You will lead investigations, drive CAPA, and strengthen the Quality Management System while partnering with the QA Manager.

Youll author SOPs, oversee internal audits, host customer audits, and manage Export Health Certificate applications. The role offers flexitime, a clear path to QA Manager and a generous holiday package.

Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant scientific discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Solid experience in a regulated QA environment with EU GMP.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations into deviations, non-conformances and complaints.
• Write, review and approve SOPs and quality forms.
• Lead internal audit programme and maintain site audit-readiness.
• Host customer audits and quality meetings as main QA contact.
• Manage Export Health Certificate applications with veterinary inspectors.
• Mentor junior QA colleagues and drive continuous improvement with QA metrics.
