Job summary

Sigma Recruitment is seeking a QC Administrator for a busy laboratory where you will keep the Quality Control project team running smoothly, handling admin tasks that support samples being tested and results returned to customers.

No degree is required and full training is provided. Flexitime allows starts between 7:30am–9:30am and finishes 3:30pm–5:30pm, Monday to Friday with no weekends, plus 24 days holiday and 8 bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong, hands-on administration experience with a genuine eye for detail.
• Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office 365) and happy to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Book stability and project samples into the QC systems
• Organise despatch of samples to partner testing laboratories, raising purchase orders and labelling correctly
• Collect and trend data, create Certificates of Analysis and draft customer quotes
• Complete and archive records, keeping the lab audit-ready
• Prepare reagents and run basic sample checks once trained
• Order consumables and support improvements across the lab
