Job summary

Nando's is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to define and lead the quality strategy across the Point of Sale and Kitchen Management platforms. This hands-on role covers hardware validation, release governance and production quality across devices and terminals used in restaurants worldwide.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading QA strategy for web, desktop or mobile apps.
• Hands-on testing across Windows and Android hardware.
• Experience with functional, API and performance testing.
• Familiar with JSON payloads and API validation.
• Experience with Playwright and/or Maestro.
• Experience working in Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the quality strategy across POS and NKMS products.
• Design, execute and improve test plans for hardware and software.
• Perform hands-on validation across POS devices and peripherals.
• Own release validation and ensure production readiness.
• Monitor post-release stability and reproduce production issues.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve testability and release confidence.
• Build and maintain automated tests using Playwright and Maestro.
