Peace Recruitment are looking to speak with an experienced Senior Engineer / QA Engineer for a long-term civil engineering project in Caithness. The role centers on QA, handover and close-out, with ownership of ITPs, QA packs and as-built information. Accommodation is provided, and the pattern includes every second weekend. This freelance position offers long-term potential for experienced civils professionals.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil engineering QA and ITP close-out.
• Proven ability to compile handover packs and QA documentation.
• Strong track record maintaining as-built information and QA records.

Responsibilities

• Managing and closing out ITPs and inspection records
• Compiling handover packs and QA documentation
• Reviewing and maintaining as-built information
• Managing test results, check sheets and quality records
• Working closely with engineers, site management and subcontractors
• Ensuring works comply with drawings, specifications and project requirements
• Supporting the close-out of civils packages across the project
