Job summary

Adaptive is seeking a Senior QA to shape and drive quality across complex front-office technology within financial services. You will design test strategies, implement automation, and mentor team members to raise quality standards.

You’ll collaborate with Dev, DevOps and external teams, leverage AI tools to optimize testing, and advocate QA best practices throughout an agile SDLC, ensuring high-value testing and robust releases.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a QA role.
• Ability to derive test cases from functional/technical designs.
• Experience with TDD/BDD and Test Automation.
• Experience with Cypress, Playwright, or WebdriverIO.
• Knowledge of Agile SDLC and QA within it.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, engaging with stakeholders.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to optimize QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Propose, create and enhance the project's test strategy, considering the test automation approach.
• Question and challenge existing practices while promoting QA best practice.
• Educate the team and focus on value-add testing tasks rather than routine checks.
• Design, maintain and execute test cases, and analyze the results.
• Build understanding of business, technical and operational requirements.
• Contribute to defining the QA process and standards.
• Collaborate with other QAs and the Dev team to maximize test coverage.
• Work with Dev and DevOps to improve test automation tools and solutions.
