Job summary

EC1 Partners is partnering with a growing fintech to hire a Head of Automation who will own the organisation's QA and test automation strategy.

This senior leadership role requires a strong background in FinTech, FX or capital markets technology. You will build scalable automation frameworks, embed automated testing across Agile development and CI/CD, and mentor a high-performing team of Automation Engineers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of automation testing/quality engineering experience.
• Experience leading QA or Automation teams.
• Background in FinTech, FX, electronic trading or capital markets.
• Experience designing and implementing automation frameworks from scratch.
• Proficient in Agile/Scrum and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop company-wide QA and automation strategy.
• Build and evolve scalable test automation frameworks.
• Champion a quality-first culture across Product and Engineering.
• Embed automated testing within Agile development and CI/CD.
• Mentor and scale automation engineers.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Support and Business stakeholders.
