Job summary

Content Guru Limited is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join the QA team at our Bracknell head office. The role is senior and hands-on, focusing on advancing test automation, improving software quality and supporting the development of other QA Engineers.

You will lead automated testing development, contribute to manual testing, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers to raise testing standards across projects.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in software Quality Assurance or software testing.
• Strong hands-on experience designing, developing and maintaining automated tests.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, processes and testing practices.
• Experience improving automated test coverage and identifying opportunities for further automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience investigating complex software defects.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of automated testing and expand automated test coverage.
• Design, develop and maintain effective automated test suites.
• Coordinate testing activities in line with release requirements.
• Perform manual, regression, usability and other testing as needed.
• Identify, document and track defects through to resolution.
• Coach and mentor QA Engineers and promote best testing practices.
