You'll manage weekly QA tasks, review editor output, and provide clear feedback. The role emphasizes meticulous attention to detail, meeting fixed delivery dates, and maintaining Lex Academic's high editorial standards.

Qualifications

• Ten years’ professional experience in proofreading and copy-editing, ideally of academic work.
• Native-level command of written English with highest proficiency.
• Proficiency in major citation styles: Chicago, MHRA, MLA, APA, Harvard, OSCOLA.

Responsibilities

• Perform secondary copy-edit checks on manuscripts before client delivery.
• Ensure style, formatting, and citation consistency across documents.
• Itemize shortfalls and provide clear feedback for freelancers to learn and improve.
• Coordinate with Editorial Project Manager on QA tasks and reporting.
