Senior QA Automation Engineer

Troi Search is working exclusively with The Gym Group to find a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join their team.

The Senior QA Engineer will ensure a high-quality digital experience for The Gym Group's 1 million members by leading quality assurance efforts across mobile apps and digital platforms.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to maintain and improve testing standards, focusing on their mobile app test automation framework built on Appium.

Key requirements:

Ideal candidates will have hands-on expertise in automation and exploratory testing, strong test planning skills, and a quality-first mindset. Experience with the following QA tools for Mobile Apps is essential:

• Appium
• Playwright
• Postman (API testing platform)
• Confluence for documentation
• Continuous Integration tools

Bonus points for experience with:

• An object-oriented programming language such as C# or Java
• Lighthouse for performance testing and CI integration
• Sonar for security analysis and CI integration
• Lucidchart or Miro for visual test documentation
• Jira/Confluence or similar for managing user stories and sprints
