Senior QA Automation Engineer

Troi Search is working exclusively with The Gym Group to find a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join their team.

The Senior QA Engineer will ensure a seamless, high-quality digital experience for The Gym Group's 1 million members by leading quality assurance across mobile apps and digital platforms.

This role involves working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to maintain and improve testing standards, focusing on their mobile app test automation framework built on Appium.

Key requirements:

Candidates should demonstrate hands-on expertise in automation and exploratory testing, with strong test planning skills and a quality-first approach. Experience with the following QA tools is essential:

• Appium
• Playwright
• Postman (API testing)
• Confluence for documentation
• Continuous Integration tools

Bonus points for experience with:

• An object-oriented programming language such as C# or Java
• Lighthouse for performance testing and CI integration
• Sonar for security analysis and CI integration
• Lucidchart or Miro for visual documentation
• Jira/Confluence or similar tools for managing user stories and sprints
