Senior QA Automation Engineer

Troi Search is working exclusively with The Gym Group to find a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join their team.

The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality digital experience for The Gym Group's 1 million members by leading quality assurance across mobile apps and digital platforms.

This role involves collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to maintain and improve testing standards, with a focus on their mobile app test automation framework built on Appium.

Key requirements:

Candidates should demonstrate hands-on expertise in automation and exploratory testing, with strong test planning skills and a quality-first approach. Experience with the following QA tools is essential:

• Appium
• Playwright
• Postman (API testing)
• Confluence for documentation
• Continuous Integration tools

Bonus points for experience with:

• Object-oriented programming languages such as C# or Java
• Lighthouse for performance testing and CI integration
• Sonar for security analysis and CI integration
• Lucidchart or Miro for visual test documentation
• Jira/Confluence or similar tools for managing user stories and sprints
