OpenSourced Ltd. is seeking a Senior Python Software Engineer to join its engineering team in the United Kingdom. You will design, build and improve scalable Python applications, taking ownership of software from design through deployment and ongoing operation.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product teams, strong testing practices, and mentoring fellow engineers to raise overall software quality and reliability. A competitive package includes equity participation and a company pension.

Formación

• Strong commercial software engineering experience with Python as a core language.
• Proven ability to design and develop reliable, scalable applications.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design principles and engineering best practices.
• Experience with automated testing, TDD and software quality assurance.

Responsabilidades

• Designing, developing and maintaining reliable, scalable applications using Python.
• Taking ownership of software design, implementation, testing and ongoing operation.
• Developing and enhancing existing products, services and internal tooling.
• Tackling complex technical problems and delivering practical, maintainable solutions.
• Applying test-driven development, automated testing and quality practices.
• Collaborating with Product Owners, Product Managers and stakeholders to deliver roadmaps.
• Contributing to architectural decisions, planning and continuous improvement.
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to other engineers.
• Ensuring changes are delivered with reliability and performance in mind.
