Job summary

DataArt is seeking a Senior Python Engineer to write production-grade Python code daily. You will build new components and refactor business tools into well-engineered apps, working closely with portfolio managers to ensure stability and speed. This is a 100% hands-on role.

You will design, develop, and maintain Python applications and APIs, modernize legacy tools, and contribute to tests, CI/CD, and observability in a data-driven, cloud-enabled environment. London onsite three days a week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on production Python development experience.
• Experience working directly with portfolio managers or front-office users.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade Python apps and APIs.
• Refactor and modernize legacy Python/Excel tools; add tests, structure, security, and observability.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers to clarify requirements and validate results.
