Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Software Engineer III in the AI/ML Technology domain to build production software with AI-enabled capabilities.

You will develop Python backends, APIs, and microservices, and implement LLM-driven workflows across a multi-cloud environment using Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. You will contribute to the full software lifecycle from requirements to production support, ensuring secure data handling and robust observability.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Python development experience
• Experience building APIs and microservices (REST or gRPC)
• Practical experience delivering LLM-based features
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, containers, and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Terraform and multi-cloud infrastructure
• Understanding of secure coding practices and observability

Responsibilities

• Deliver software through the full SDLC with clear requirements and design
• Write maintainable Python with tests and debugging across layers
• Implement LLM-driven workflows including prompting and orchestration
• Build and maintain inference-time integrations and model gateways
• Develop REST and gRPC endpoints with authentication and input validation
• Implement SQL-backed business logic for APIs and microservices
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments on Kubernetes
• Use IaC with Terraform across environments and improve operability via observability tooling
• Leverage enterprise AI-assisted development tools while ensuring secure outputs
