Senior Python Developer
Permanent
£80,000- £85,000 (DOE)
London – Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer for a permanent role based in central London area.

Hybrid working with the expectation of 3 days/week on site in London. Immediate start ideally March – April 2025. Only candidates who are SC eligible or active SC holders will be considered.

A chance to work with a leading digital transformation business on large-scale IT modernisation programmes for government clients.

Key Responsibilities and Skills:

1. Advanced hands-on experience with Python is essential
2. Strong understanding and practical experience with CI/CD pipelines
3. Experience working with Databricks for data processing and analysis
4. Solid architecture and design knowledge to ensure scalable and efficient systems
5. Proven experience with web frameworks (Django, Flask)
6. Lead the development of MVPs, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and enhance banking applications
8. Work closely with UI/UX Designers to seamlessly integrate visualizations into web applications or other platforms
9. Develop and maintain data interfaces to connect various systems within the bank
10. Experience in the Banking and or Government sectors is highly desirable.
