Job summary

EMBS Engineering in London is seeking two Senior Python AI Developers to deliver enterprise-scale Generative and Agentic AI solutions. Role focuses on building core services, LLM integrations and AWS cloud-enabled platforms in a hybrid London setting.

You will work hands-on with Python backend services, Big data workflows and DevOps practices to deliver secure, scalable AI applications for a major financial services client.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' commercial experience in Python backend development or equivalent
• Experience delivering Generative AI/LLM-powered solutions
• Proficient with RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
• Strong AWS cloud engineering experience, preferably Bedrock
• Experience with RAG architectures and prompt orchestration
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Ability to evaluate AI models, monitor performance and optimise costs
• Security-conscious software development and observability practices

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Python backend services and APIs using FastAPI
• Build Generative AI, Agentic AI and LLM-powered applications
• Develop RAG architectures, prompt orchestration and tooling
• Integrate LLMs with enterprise applications and business workflows
• Work with AWS services including Bedrock, AgentCore, EKS, EC2, S3 and SQS
• Design CI/CD pipelines, automation and reusable microservices
• Support LLM benchmarking, monitoring and cost optimisation
• Integrate AI services with enterprise security and observability frameworks
• Collaborate with architects and platform engineers on scalable AI solutions
