EMBS Engineering in London is seeking two Senior Python AI Developers to deliver enterprise-scale Generative and Agentic AI solutions. Role focuses on building core services, LLM integrations and AWS cloud-enabled platforms in a hybrid London setting.

You will work hands-on with Python backend services, Big data workflows and DevOps practices to deliver secure, scalable AI applications for a major financial services client.

Formación

• 8+ years' commercial experience in Python backend development or equivalent
• Experience delivering Generative AI/LLM-powered solutions
• Proficient with RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
• Strong AWS cloud engineering experience, preferably Bedrock
• Experience with RAG architectures and prompt orchestration
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Ability to evaluate AI models, monitor performance and optimise costs
• Security-conscious software development and observability practices

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop Python backend services and APIs using FastAPI

Salary: £60,000 - £75,000

Contract rate: c£475 per day

Location: London - Hybrid (3 days per week onsite)

We're recruiting two experienced Senior Python AI Developers to join a technology consultancy delivering enterprise-scale Generative and Agentic AI solutions for a major financial services client.

These are hands-on engineering opportunities focused on building core services, features and capabilities for an enterprise-grade AI platform.

You’ll combine strong Python backend development with LLM integration, AWS cloud technologies and DevOps, working alongside experienced AI engineers, architects and platform specialists to deliver secure, scalable, production-ready AI applications.

The role

• Designing and developing Python backend services and APIs using FastAPI
• Building Generative AI, Agentic AI and LLM-powered applications
• Developing RAG architectures, prompt orchestration and AI evaluation tooling
• Integrating LLMs with enterprise applications and business workflows
• Working with AWS services including Bedrock, AgentCore, EKS, EC2, S3 and SQS
• Designing CI/CD pipelines, automation and reusable microservices
• Supporting LLM benchmarking, performance monitoring and cost optimisation
• Integrating AI services with enterprise security and observability frameworks
• Collaborating with architects and platform engineers on scalable AI solutions

What we're looking for

• Strong Python backend development and FastAPI
• Generative AI, Agentic AI and Large Language Models
• RAG architectures, prompt orchestration and vector search
• AWS cloud engineering, particularly Bedrock and AgentCore
• RESTful APIs, microservices and distributed systems
• CI/CD pipelines, DevOps and automation
• LLM integration, evaluation and performance optimisation
• Secure application development and observability

Experience with Terraform, GitOps, Kong API Gateway, SQL/NoSQL databases and AI evaluation tools such as Promptfoo or Arize would also be useful.

Previous experience working within financial services, insurance or other regulated environments would be beneficial.
