Job summary

Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to lead the Central Team, supervising and developing clinicians to manage busy caseloads and deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.

You will oversee assessments and structured interventions such as groups, webinars or SilverCloud CBT, participate in front-door triage, and help ensure patients receive timely, appropriate treatment.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate cert/diploma in Low Intensity Psychological Interventions (essential).
• Minimum of 1 year post qualification experience (essential).
• Desirable: 2 years post qualification experience.
• Desirable: Experience working in a senior PWP role, offering case management supervision or supporting staff development.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop other clinicians (PWP, Assistant Psychologists, Mental Health Support Practitioners).
• Support staff to manage busy caseloads and make sound clinical decisions.
• Deliver assessments and structured interventions (groups, webinars, or SilverCloud CBT).
• Contribute to the front door/triage function and direct people to appropriate treatment.
• Provide clinical guidance and supervision to Step 2 staff and ensure standards are met.
