Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger professional looking for your next step in a fast-paced, supportive finance team? We’re seeking a confident and detail-orientated Senior Purchase Ledger Specialist to join our growing organisation and take ownership of our accounts payable function. You will be based at our busy Head Office in Eastleigh.

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager as part of our large Finance team, you will be an experienced purchase ledger specialist who can hit the ground running.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments. You’ll take the lead on reconciliations, month-end close activities, and supplier management, while also supporting colleagues and identifying process improvements.

We are looking for an organised, confident, and highly motivated individual who thrives within fast-paced environments. To be a success in this role you will be a leader, have good excel knowledge, confidence using a variety of computer systems, and excellent communication skills.

About You:

• Have proven experience of working in a busy finance department with expertise in purchase ledger,
• AAT qualified or equivalent experience,
• Managed teams previously,
• Be proficient in dealing with a large number of wide-ranging suppliers (e.g., vehicle and parts manufacturers),
• Work well within a team as well as on your own as both will be required to process, organise and reconcile a high volume of complex supplier documents,
• Be highly organised with the ability to pay meticulous attention to detail, and
• Have previously worked in the automotive industry (advantageous).
