Job summary

Informed Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Senior Procurement Manager for a public sector-focused role. Hybrid working with 3 days in Birmingham and 2 days working from home, focusing on frameworks, contracts, and procurement consortia.

You will lead end-to-end procurement activities, ensure governance and regulatory alignment with PA23/PCR2015, and manage procurement records across multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in procurement and major contracts.
• Thorough knowledge of public sector procurement regulations.
• Experience with procurement frameworks and contracts.
• Experience with e-procurement portals or digital purchasing systems.
• Consultative relationship-building with ability to deliver results.
• Strong cost management and value engineering in fast-paced environments.
• MCIPS qualified, progression towards qualification or equivalent commercial experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities for the organisation.
• Plan, manage, administer and deliver compliant procurement.
• Oversee framework agreements, long-term contracts and call-offs.
• Maintain up-to-date legislative knowledge for compliance.
• Define procurement best practice and ensure transparency.
• Manage documentation and records to required standards.
