Red Recruitment is recruiting a Senior Business Development Manager in Bristol to join our client, one of the largest resellers of fuel cards. This is a great opportunity for someone to join a business who have been awarded the gold standard by Investors in People.

To be considered for this role you should have previous experience in a bid/tender management position as you will be responsible for owning and driving the full sales cycle within the public-sector market.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years in a bid/tender management position.
• Experience in face-to-face sales presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Proven track record in winning bids/tenders.
• Interest in pre-sales and bid management.
• Proficient in finance and commercial aspects of bids.
• Determination and resilience for high-volume calls.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and secure new public sector opportunities (councils, NHS, blue-light, education, government).
• Lead on complex bids, tenders and framework submissions (CCS, ESPO, YPO).
• Meet with clients to present solutions to senior stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key partners.
• Build a strong pipeline through outreach, events and industry engagement.
• Conduct consultations to understand fleet requirements and tailor proposals.
• Monitor market trends and competitors to shape sales strategy.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations and Client Services for onboarding.
• Maintain CRM, forecasting, and reporting to senior leadership.
