Job summary

Bms Tech Sales in London or Leeds is seeking a Senior Bid Manager with a strong track record in public sector bids to lead and grow the bid function. You will oversee bid responses, ensure quality standards, and guide content strategy across the bid library.

The role focuses on expanding content, maintaining high-quality documentation, and training on systems and security. You will work hybrid, commuting to either London or Leeds as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in bid management within the public sector.
• Experience writing proposals, RFPs and tender responses across bid programmes.
• Strong ability to proofread and ensure high grammar, syntax and on-brand formatting.

Responsibilities

• Understand the public sector bid landscape and compliance requirements.
• Consider building a future bid writing team and expansion opportunities.
• Expand knowledge of systems and security via internal/external training.
• Manage and curate the bid response document repository and continuously improve answers.
• Create new content for bids as library content evolves.

The Role:

• Needs to have an understanding of the public sector
• Give consideration to a future bid writing team and how that could expand across the business
• Expand your knowledge of our systems and security via internal and certified external training
• Custodian of our bid response document repository, utilising and fine-tuning answers throughout the library as managed services evolve.
• New content creation will be at the forefront of this role
• Location - commutable to either London or Leeds

The Candidate:

• 4 years+ bid management experience in the public sector space
• Experience and ability to demonstrate an understanding of writing proposals, RFP’s, tender responses (all types of Bid-mangement)
• Excellent ability to understand STEM-based bid documentation including contractual aspects
• An understanding of Managed Services
• Proven track record of winning bids
• An understanding of the Tech Industry
• Excellent ability to proof-read documentation and ensure a high standard of grammar, syntax, formatting, and on-brand formatting is adhered to at all times
