Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Public Health Engineer to lead PH and Fire Protection design within our multidisciplinary MEP team. The role is predominantly office-based with hybrid options across multiple UK offices, including Leeds, London, and others.

You will mentor colleagues and shepherd projects from concept through to detailed design, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will bring Chartered status in a relevant discipline, strong experience in building

Qualifications

• Public health engineering design experience in design consultancy or similar.
• Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit across building services.

Responsibilities

• Lead public health and fire protection systems design on projects and liaise with clients.
• Mentor and develop junior staff within the discipline.
• Manage small multi-disciplinary projects and ensure timely, quality delivery.
• Coordinate information from Architects, QS and other consultants to deliver fully coordinated designs.
• Represent AECOM at client, design team and progress meetings during design and construction phases.
