Covering maternity leave on a 1-year fixed-term contract, you will work at The Farndon Unit, a service providing low secure care for women with severe and enduring mental illness, personality disorders, or mild learning disabilities. The unit offers low secure, acute, and rehab services within the hospital. There is a strong emphasis on teamwork and Continuing Professional Development (CPD), with access to a range of training opportunities to advance your career.
Reporting to the Consultant Clinical Psychologist, your responsibilities will include assisting in the delivery of strategic and clinical strategies to develop the care pathway through specialist psychological advice and consultations.
You should have experience and knowledge in managing a designated caseload, including assessing service users with complex needs, and designing and delivering specialist psychological treatments within neurological care services.
