Department: Delivery

Location: Home based, UK (with occasional travel to our London office)

Reports to: Apprenticeships Director

Hours: 37.5 per week

Contract type: Fixed Term, 12 months

Salary: (Depending on experience)

Role Overview

The Service Delivery Manager oversees the performance of 500+ learners, ensuring timely completion, retention, and satisfaction. Manages Learner Success Coaches and Data Mentors, liaising with employer partners and supporting growth and escalation processes. Defines solutions, champions initiatives, and drives continuous improvement aligned with Cambridge Spark’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Learner Performance & Case Management: Lead reviews to track progress, identify risks, and implement interventions. Support team performance and analyze data trends to enhance learner progression.
  2. Team Leadership & Development: Conduct team meetings, one-to-ones, and PDPs. Incorporate QA and feedback into coaching and development.
  3. Employer Engagement & Stakeholder Management: Act as primary contact for employer partners, manage client interventions, and resolve escalations.
  4. Strategic & Operational Leadership: Ensure SLA compliance, promote continuous improvement, and deputise for the Service Delivery Director when needed.
Candidate Specification
  • 3+ years experience in apprenticeship sector and team management (preferably remote)
  • Commercial awareness, project management skills, and exceptional communication
  • Experience with LMS platforms and stakeholder management
