Job summary

Arriva UK Bus Ltd is seeking an experienced PSV Master Technician to join their Barking depot on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults while providing technical guidance. Responsibilities include advanced fault-finding, mentoring apprentices, and maintaining communication with manufacturers. The position offers ongoing training, free bus travel, and competitive leave entitlements. A strong background in diagnostic equipment and willingness to develop skills is required.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of diagnostic equipment and electrical components.
• Willingness to continually develop skills and attend training.
• Ability to meet PCV pre-employment medical standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for advanced fault finding.
• Carry out diagnostic testing on a range of company vehicles.
• Provide technical advice and support to the Engineering Manager.
