Job summary

Hitachi Energy UK Limited in Stone, Staffordshire, is seeking a Senior Protection Engineer to design and deliver high-quality protection solutions for renewable energy projects. You will translate customer specs into function designs and manage project risk within budget and timescales.

The role requires 5+ years in electrical engineering, a degree in EE, and strong communication. You will work with customers, project managers and Hitachi teams to implement IED configurations and IEC61850

Qualifications

• 5+ years within the electrical engineering sector, particularly grid automation
• Strong foundation in transmission within the energy sector
• HND or a Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Membership (or working towards) CEng
• Fluent in English with good communication skills
