Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Prosthetics Dental Technician (B6) to support the University Dental Hospital of Manchester. You must be fully registered with the GDC and hold recognised academic qualifications with prosthetics experience.

Qualifications

• GDC registration as a Dental Technician is essential.
• Academic qualification recognised by the GDC is required.
• Desirable:Advanced qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Construct a wide range of prosthodontic restorations and prosthetic appliances using analogue and CADCAM.
• Maintain and integrate existing workflows and equipment.
• Develop skills in highly specialised, potentially innovative work.
• Work independently and mentor junior staff within the service.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory regulations and routines; deputise for Lead Prosthetic Technician.
