Job summary

King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Highly Specialised Fixed Restorative Dental Technician (Digital Lead) to join our Dental Technology Services. The role focuses on leading digital CAD/CAM workflows, high-precision fabrication, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to deliver complex prosthodontic solutions.

Qualifications

BSc in Dental Sciences/Technology or equivalent.
Postgraduate vocational training and/or Masters MFPR.
Registration with the relevant professional body (IMPT) and UK registration.

Responsibilities

Design and manufacture of complex fixed restorative dental devices, including implant-supported restorations.
Lead the implementation and optimisation of digital CAD/CAM workflows.
Interpret prescriptions and treatment plans with Consultants and Dental Care Professionals.
Maintain turnaround times and service standards within the Fixed Restorative Laboratory.
Ensure compliance with GDC standards, regulations and Trust policies.
