Job summary

SR2 REC LTD is seeking a Senior Propulsion Engineer to drive the development of a 350 N microjet turbine for UAVs. The role requires hands-on engagement within a small team, applying jet propulsion expertise to push concepts from early design toward prototype.

You will work closely with the CTO and engineers, contributing to propulsion system development while delivering practical solutions in a fast-paced environment. UK national clearance and on-site حضور requirement apply.

Qualifications

• A relevant Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent propulsion engineering background.
• Significant practical experience in jet engines, gas turbines or closely related propulsion systems.
• Strong understanding of turbine engine design and aerospace mechanical systems.
• Experience using SolidWorks for engineering design is desirable.
• British nationality or dual nationality, as required for the project.

Responsibilities

• Support the engineering development of a 350 N microjet turbine engine for UAVs.
• Apply knowledge of jet engines and propulsion systems to design and development activities.
• Contribute to mechanical design and CAD activities using SolidWorks.
• Support progression of concepts into prototype hardware.
• Apply aerospace engineering principles to a compact propulsion system.
• Engage with suppliers to identify suitable manufacturing or component options.
