Job summary

Expert Employment Limited is seeking a qualified engineer to support Aerospace Propulsion programs in the UK. The role involves assembly and component analysis across structural, ballistic and thermal domains to assist design teams.

You will contribute to bid and proposal material, prepare IRAD plans, and help drive continuous improvement. You will also participate in Change Review Board meetings and Phase Gate Reviews for development programs.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in a technical field is required.
• Experience in the Aerospace or Defence industry is essential.
• Knowledge of closed form analysis and finite element methods.
• Ability to create solid models and detailed drawings.

Responsibilities

• Support Aerospace Propulsion programs.
• Conduct assembly and component analysis (structural, ballistic, thermal) to support design.
• Assist bid and proposal preparation including scope of work, technical volume, schedules and budgets.
• Contribute to IRAD plans and support continuous improvement projects.
• Prepare and present TDP process changes for Change Review Board meetings.
• Participate in Phase Gate Review meetings for development programs.
