Job summary

Morris & Spottiswood Glasgow, Scotland, is seeking a Senior Proposals Coordinator to drive bid excellence across public and private sectors. You will lead PQQs, tenders and client-specific proposals, coordinating with senior leaders and subject-matter experts to shape compelling content that communicates our service capability and differentiates us.

The role focuses on writing strong, compliant responses, managing bid plans and governance, and maintaining a high-quality bid library.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in proposals, bid or work-winning roles in construction, building services, engineering, FM or similar.
• Strong writing, editing and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with framework-led procurement in public/private sectors.
• Excellent organisation with multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
• Attention to quality, compliance and presentation.
• Proficiency with MS Office; InDesign is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead PQQs, tenders, framework submissions and client-specific proposals.
• Coordinate with senior leaders, service leads, operations teams and SMEs to gather content.
• Write clear, persuasive responses aligned to client priorities and scoring criteria.
• Lead bid plans, review cycles, governance requirements and submission deadlines.
• Maintain bid library with service methodologies, case studies and capability statements.
• Support client interviews, presentations, clarification responses and marketing collateral.
• Lead accreditation content with HSQE and wider teams.
• Share best practice across the Group Proposals function and drive continuous improvement.
