Job summary

Morepeople is working with a leading property and rural services business to appoint a Property Manager to join its Peterborough team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid residential property management experience who wants to broaden responsibilities and progress their career.

You will handle day-to-day management across a varied portfolio, coordinate maintenance, oversee letting process and tenancy renewals, and liaise with clients, tenants and contractors.

Qualifications

• Residential property management experience required.
• Experience with lettings, client management and estate administration.
• ARLA/AssocRICS/MRICS qualification preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day property management for multiple properties and serve as main contact for clients, tenants and contractors.
• Coordinate maintenance and contractor work, obtain quotations for complex tasks.
• Carry out property inspections and prepare reports and repair schedules.
• Manage tenancy renewals, notices, rent reviews and arrears.
• Oversee letting process, from refurbishment to marketing, referencing and agreements.
• Advise clients on rental values and letting options.
• Manage estate budgets, cash flows and insurance claims.
• Ensure Health & Safety and compliance inspections are maintained.
• Liaise with accounts, building surveying and internal teams to deliver joined-up service.
• Use property management systems to analyse data and produce reports.
• Attend court proceedings where required.
