Job summary

A property investment support firm is seeking a Senior Property Manager to oversee the operations of a mixed-use commercial portfolio in Greater London. In this full-time role, you will manage day-to-day property management activities, ensuring budgeted financial goals are met and operational performance objectives achieved. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of landlord and tenant legislation and prior experience in service charge property management. Applicants should also possess excellent negotiation skills and financial acumen.

Qualifications

  • Experience in setting up management instructions for multi-occupied service charge properties.
  • Understanding of property management accounts functions including credit control.

Job description

TPL is supporting a property investment company to identify a Senior Property Manager to manage their mixed use commercial portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Property Management you will take ownership of the day to day running of these investments. Based in the City fringe offices you will report to the Head of Commercial Property Management.

As Senior Property Manager you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the commercial portfolio implementing policies procedures and practices to enable each property to meet budgeted financial goals and achieve operational performance objectives.

This will include :

  • Providing overall direction and supervision of day-to-day property management with oversight responsibility for management of the properties within the geographic region.
  • Preparation of the service charge budgets.
  • Supervising on-site staff and in the procurement of service contractors to undertake and perform maintenance and contract duties required at the properties under management.
  • Preparation of financial forecasts and annual maintenance expenditure.
  • Liaising with the accounts team on funding availability together with the managing of expenditure on a monthly basis.
  • Liaising with tenants on all matters.

To be considered you WILL :

  • Have a good understanding of current Landlord & Tenant legislation.
  • Experience in the setting up of new management instructions with regard to multi-occupied service charge properties including apportioning service charge liabilities reviewing and setting service charge budgets.
  • Hold a good understanding of property management accounts functions including credit control dealing with general tenant service charge queries and enquiries.
