Senior Property Litigation Solicitor up to circa £75,000 dep on experience –Surrey – hybrid *offering partnership for the right candidate*

Our client is a highly respected, full-service law firm with a distinguished reputation, operating from three offices across Surrey. Known for their commitment to excellence, they have consistently earned recognition and accolades, including being highly ranked in the Legal 500.

This role provides a diverse opportunity to handle a broad range of property disputes, including complex, high-net-worth cases, while working with clients both locally and nationally

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload with a focus on property litigation matters, but with the ability to deal with mainstream contract disputes as required
• Manage commercial and landlord and tenant litigation cases, to include, in particular, lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 and dilapidation claims
• Manage residential possession proceedings with a full understanding of relevant housing law and statutory regulations
• Handle disputes between adjoining owners (trespass and nuisance claims, boundary disputes and the enforcement of restrictive covenants) whilst demonstrating a sensitivity to preserving good relationships between neighbours
• Advise on long residential leases

What are they looking for?

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive, with a background in property litigation law
• Proven experience (5 years PQE+) in property litigation and commercial contract disputes
• Experience in landlord and tenant disputes, both residential and commercial is essential
• Experience in handling disputes between adjoining owners is essential
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organsiational skills
• Ability to build strong client relationships and work empathetically with individuals during sensitive times
• High ethical standards and professional integrity
