Are you a commercially minded finance professional with a passion for strategic business partnering? Do you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where your insights drive real business decisions?
We're currently recruiting a Senior Finance Business Partner to take on a pivotal role within our Business Partnering team. Acting as the strategic finance lead for our Property division, this is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team that's central to the Group's growth and transformation journey. Providing you the chance to shape the financial future of a key division within a growing, purpose-led bank.
What will your day look like?
- Partnering closely with the MD of Property and senior leadership to drive performance through strategic insight and robust financial analysis.
- Acting as a key voice for the Property division, while collaborating across Finance, Risk and Business functions to influence decisions and shape long-term strategy.
- Leading the budgeting process, guiding commercial leaders on financial planning, and challenging assumptions to ensure alignment with Group strategy.
- Supporting new product pricing, business case development, M&A opportunities, and funding strategy - bringing a clear, data-driven voice to complex commercial decisions.
- Driving continuous improvement across finance processes, reporting and control frameworks - making space for smarter, insight-led decision making.
What do we expect from you?- Highly numerate and familiar with key banking financials and drivers of performance, in particular the UK mortgage market, or retail banking
- Thrives in complexity, is solutions-focused, and naturally curious - always asking "how can we do this better?"
- Is comfortable balancing strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to delivery.
- Strong financial modelling, analytical and commercial acumen
- Commercially and analytically focused in order to drive improvements
- Brings confidence, credibility, and excellent communication skills to engage with senior stakeholders and challenge constructively.
- Evidence of driving change throughout an organisation or function
- CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified desirable (not essential)
