Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Project Surveyor to lead commercial activities on a major project. You will play a key role in procurement, valuations and final accounts, working with the project team to secure financial success.

The role requires a degree-level qualification with MRICS/MCIOB progress, strong negotiation, and excellent communication skills, plus proficiency in Excel, Word and BIM. Based in Birmingham with a broad exposure to main contractor practices.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification or progression toward MRICS/MCIOB.
• Proven experience in main contractor environments.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient with Excel and Word; BIM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of subcontract packages.
• Assembling enquiry documentation and evaluating quotations.
• Prepare and negotiate project cost reports, valuations, and final accounts.
• Support risk and opportunity management and client communications.
